Future Resale Leaders:
Deda Stealth Challenges NYU Stern’s Brightest Luxury & Retail MBA Minds
What does the future of resale look like, and who’s brave enough to design it? On September 11, 2026, Deda Stealth put that question to groups of students in NYU Stern’s Luxury & Retail MBA Program, a longtime academic partner, in a high-stakes case challenge built around Stealth Revalue, the recommerce and second-hand market intelligence platform powered by Competitoor.
The mission: crack the US resale opportunity. Which brands should move first? How recommerce supercharges, rather than cannibalizes, full-price business. Where consumer behavior is headed next. And how to turn the risks of the digital secondhand boom into a competitive edge.

The prize? Bragging rights, plus a professional vodcast recording moderated by Liz Alessi, airing across Deda Stealth‘s channels, content the winning team can also flex in their own portfolios.
Judging the pitches, a jury that doesn’t miss a beat: Liz Alessi (Jury President), Kim Matsoukas (Sustainability Director, Coach), Maurizio Catellani (CEO, Competitoor), Marcello Messina (Global Head of EBusiness, Tod’s Group) and Jamin Nieri (COO, Trove).
A special thank to Professor Thomaï Serdari, Academic Director of the Luxury & Retail MBA Program, whose partnership made this challenge possible, proof that the best ideas happen when academia and industry sit at the same table.
